A.Wolf Grant
I mentioned in a post on xmh53wrench's LSR Topic that I was almost finished building a magazine part work die-cast/plastic model of James Bond's Aston Martin DB5 from the film Goldfinger. Both xmh53wrench and MARU asked for pics so, for better or for worse, here are we go.. This baby is 1/8th Scale and therefore HUGE! To give you an idea, it's length is 1'10", width 8" and weighs in at a hefty 19lbs, when finished. You might also spot some cabling and micro connectors .. all the lights will work - the tail lights off the brake pedal, the horn works, there's a retractable bullet proof shield and working passenger ejection seat. All in all it's a simple bolt and screw together build but I fell in love with the idea and, especially, it's size. Engine 1 Engine 2 Engine 3 Front End Front End 2 Guns and Ramming Bars and closed More to come ... Grant
Hartmann352
Very Nice! So what's next, same thing only 1/1? Cheers, Dave
A.Wolf Grant
Aston Martin DB5 Part Two: Front and Body Test Fitted Main Body Part of the Interior Wheels And this .. the Chassis (which arrived today) I've tried not to flood you with too many pictures so I've left out quite a lot of the other small "modules" such as the engine bay etc. Hope you like it (now where's that subscription to the 1/8th Zero???)
