viperfixer
Wow, that looks great! Nice to see one with paint instead of a bare metal finish. I've got one of these kits and it's next on the built list I think, and I was almost sure about a metal finish, but now I have doubts again, thanks a lot! HADman
Ron thanks the experience! This is the very nice green painting, what I have seen for the last years. Congratulation! Sincerely: Feri
D.B. Andrus
Wow, Ron, great job! When do you find the time? Have you cloned yourself? What brand of paint did you use? Looks perfectly applied. Cheers. D.B.
LSP_Ron
Thanks guys. I appreciate it. Wow, Ron, great job! When do you find the time? Have you cloned yourself? What brand of paint did you use? Looks perfectly applied. Cheers. D.B. Actually I started this kit back in March but it was packed up with my hobby room in June(ish) for the move after it was painted. I just finished up the hobby room and had some free time between my travels to finish it. The paint is Model Master enamel. I weathered it by picking out panel lines with HB pencil then used Tamiya's weathering pastels applied with with a fine brush. I can't say enough about these pastels. Thanks again
MikeC
Just found this thread: a superb model of one of my favourite a/c from one of my favourite FGs (beaten narrowly by the 361st and the 356th). Thought you and everyone else might be interested to see these shots, which I took a few years ago, of the holiday caravan park (or vacation trailer park) which is what Leiston airfield is now. Brad-M
Hey Ron, All the pics are gone because of photobucket. I was wondering if you went with good old OD over NG for her paint scheme? Nothing weird like British Dark Green or MSG is there? Thanks Brad
