1/32 Revell P-47 Razorback

Hi all,

 

I managed to buy this at the Antwerp convention today.

I needed to find something for this GB.

First progress.

 

Don't compare this ancien kit with Hasegawa or Trumpeter.

No cockpit and engine worth showing.

Bad fitting.I added a small screw inside to fix the wings stronger to the fuselage.

So,again,this will be all about the "overall look"

 

I plan to do this as a "museum" plane with full stripes.

Big in 1/32 scale, yet as many parts as a 1/72 scale kit!

Nice kit for it's day, I built the SEAC version alongside the bubble version of the kit and enjoyed both builds.

The main build is done with a rough base coat.

This also fills the small gabs.

From now on it all about painting.

Far from perfect.But good enough for me.

 

Painting is not based on a real P-47.

Will add some tail marking or extra stripes to dress it up a bit.
