DugyB
I’ve got it standing on its legs, I needed to check the ground clearance for the ECM pod, the fit is almost ok, but silly me wanted a wee bit more, so I’m back at the mount welding without measuring anything ……I’ve been going back and forth with getting all the sub assemblies finished and ready for the paint shop…. be back soon… Edited April 24 by DugyB denders, Alain Gadbois, patricksparks and 6 others
DugyB
There ya go, that’s better. Also noticed the wheels and am satisfied with my reverse engineered project. Time to scoot off and mix up some white paint … Edited April 25 by DugyB MikeMaben, MikeC, Martinnfb and 6 others
DugyB
I think this it for all the bits and bobs, I’ll sort out the attachment points/rails next. Alain Gadbois, Landrotten Highlander, patricksparks and 1 other
DugyB
While letting things dry during my coffee break I couldn’t resist the urge to start planning out just how I’ll tackle the nose art. So far it looks like a stencil using some leftover vinyl of the figure. I need to get to a art store and source a quality art pen/paint pen for the intricate outline work. patricksparks, Lee White, Landrotten Highlander and 2 others
wingman777
This build is really satisfying to me. It's a case of what could've, should've been. Keep up the good work. DugyB
James Rademaker
Great job! This is the kind of building thread that gets my interest. A little “out there “ but, it could have happened. Looking forward to a “Jug” in SEA camouflage. Jim DugyB
