When I first started going to air shows we had the BBMF pair (and we temporarily lost one of them in 1991. ) and that was pretty much it! John1 Posted January 13 Share Posted January 13 Are all of these actual Hurricanes or are they replicas built up from a collection of authentic bits and pieces like many warbirds are in the US? I had no idea there were that many in flyable condition. I'd say it's probably a roughly even split John. The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight have two that have been going since the war.. Including PZ865, the very last Hurrie to roll off the production line. There have been a couple brought back to life in recent years from the remains dug out of French beaches from the Dunkirk era..
