Are the Barracuda Mosquito engines an improvement on the Tamiya kit?

As per the title, I am considering purchasing a set of Barracuda engines for the Tamiya Mosquito I want to build for the GB that started this month.

Just want to be sure I will be bringing a meaningful improvement before dishing out any cash.  Similar question for the wheel set.

Thanks in advance

Do you mean the Eduard resin engines? They make three sets: starboard only, port only or both engines. I have the two engine set. The detail on them is really nice. I haven't tried putting them together yet. The set effectively replaces everything forward of the firewall.

I've heard that they may have used the wrong variant of Merlin so some details may be off.

Thanks for the clarification gents,

I think I had a brain fart,  just checked the Hannants pages again, the Barracuda stuff is actually the ammo chutes, while the engine and wheels are Eduard Brassin.

Will get hold of these nameplates and drop the Eduard engines & wheels from me wishlist...
