The Madhatter Posted November 27, 2023 Share Posted November 27, 2023 hey everyone I've been a bit quite on the forum content lately due to a lack of mojo but I am slowly but definitely coming out of it This is one of 3 projects (4 if you count the on-going SD build) that I've had on the back burner and this one in particular has given me such a headache. Not because of the quality of the kit - far from it. What you're seeing in front of you is the 6th and final paint job. Yes, I stripped it back to bare resin 5 times prior to now because of various paint malfunctions caused by myself various paint issues (lifting mostly) and some outright clumsiness. But, it's done and I can now concentrate on finalising my first scratch built space fighter as well as my 1/350 Bismarck. Once they're done, I MIGHT go back to the mind numbing task of threading fibers. So, that's it really. Its a great kit, goes together beautifully as you would expect! Kev Yeah, they're everything you've heard and some. I really like their kits - this is my third build of an AM subject. It was a cloudy day today but in the sun, this looks so much different. I'll take some better pics when the sun comes out ... one day.
