mozart
We know that all Spitfires are inherently graceful and beautiful, but this picture really captures not only the elegant lines but also the latent power: Landrotten Highlander, Martinnfb, TAG and 21 others 21
Shoggz
Great photo Max.. And that particular example is one of my absolute favourites of the type. This is definitely worth a watch. It's a full documentary with the 'marmite' Guy Martin illustrating its entire restoration. coogrfan, Phartycr0c, mozart and 3 others
Shoggz
Game of Thrones fans will recognise the voice of the narrator - it's none other than Iain Glen - or Sir Jorah Mormont! Phartycr0c

Pete Roberts
Had a chance to fly a Spitfire, out of Biggin Hill, last year (with Fly-a-Spitfire). We had a second Spitfire join us briefly, just past Folkestone, before it peeled off just like that photo. I am sure I stopped breathing for a moment - what an iconic sight. Your photo brought back an incredible moment - thank you.
