LSP_Mike
Interesting. I have a few sets of long spring loaded tweezers as well as some jewelers tweezers with slide locks. I wonder how strong they are? mpk

GrahamF
What I'd like is a ceramic version of those on a rig for soldering items together, it's got to be the most frustrating job I tackle when you've got a blow torch or soldering iron and you 'just' want some brass bits to stay together while you solder for a fraction of a second, instead of which the bits move or you've soldered one bit then while doing the next part the first bit drops off. Seldom does a tool of this sort come with a pressure table, so impossible to say, save for actually performing a test on one
Bob MDC
Try local fishing tackle shops for Hackel Pliers they are used in fly tying Chttps://www.amazon.co.uk/SM-SunniMix-Pieces-Pliers-Durable/dp/B07DV1CC3K/ref=sr_1_43?adgrpid=71791685721&dchild=1&gclid=CjwKCAiA7939BRBMEiwA-hX5J20AAu_SlDjNluz4Vdj5adBkv4TL8ox9yF3iJpSwoUdLjkn_tFL8nhoCVtQQAvD_BwE&hvadid=338642943048&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=9044876&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=e&hvrand=10434624141280113727&hvtargid=kwd-492460736139&hydadcr=13279_1819432&keywords=hackle+pliers&qid=1605917523&sr=8-43&tag=googhydr-21 Bob

In mean we are doing scale models not sure it really matters at this point as long as it hold pieces

Bob MDC
I can't remember if small clamps have been sold on pressure but the ones shown looks like they have a good bite, Hakel pliers are not to bad. Bob
