Love those Tamiya Corsair kits. After market items are Barracudacast wheels/tires,Barracudacal cockpit placards and exterior markings (including national insignia). Seat belts are by FineMolds. Exterior paint is Colourcoats as is the cockpit DDG. The Salmon Pink for the tail wheel interior, etc is my own mix. I added all wiring etc. to the R2800.  I didn't want to go too far with the weathering as it's very easy to over-do that. I hope you guys like the results. :) (Here's a link to my WIP for those interested). http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=74209&hl=

Hi John, looks excellent and the weathering is just right.  Really looks nice. Your Corsairs are really tempting me to buy one even though I like the -4 and -5 the best.

Prime job, John. Looks positively real, man.

John,

congratulations! I like the different shades of blue as well as the wear and tear!

Not an easy task - but VERY convincing to me.

Cheers

John,

Well done!

Thanks for posting.

Have a Birdcage in the stash I keep pulling out & looking at. Either my next build or the 2nd.
