Jan_G
finally back at the bench floats ppainted with white aluminium and dural aluminium from MRP I have tried to depict dried sea water effect. Have masked with sponge Mr. maskol sol in some irregular patterns. After it has completly dried, I have sprayed thin coats of highly diluted medium grey paint. The effect is subtle and visible against the light thanks for looking jan LSP_Kevin and Trak-Tor
Jan_G
If I may, the two-color artificial horizon seems somewhat anachronistic for the era (not that much will be visible, or many will notice, though) I was thinking the same Hubert. I don't have enough references for this plane, but I have seen Yahu panel for Lublin and it looks almost the same. jan Hubert Boillot

Jan_G
small progress with Lublin I was playing with floats struts. It's small challene, typical for resin kits to get them aligned with correct geometry. I have used stainless steel tubes instead of resin ones for 2 struts between both floats, easy and strong solution struts painted with MRP Super Silver thanks for looking jan LSP_Kevin, Hubert Boillot, chukw and 2 others

Jan_G
not so much time at the bench in past days, however I was able to finish basic paint job Cowling painted with the mixture of Mr. Paint light grey and White aluminium, shaded and lighted a little bit underside of the wing and fuselage painted with MRP Super silver and shaded It was tricky to get the right green mixture. I was trying to mix Tamiya X-28 and Hobby Colour H306 (thinned with Tamiya X-20) and my first attempt resulted in this (with some shading applied) However I was not happy with the bright green look. So I sand it down applied white surfacer and used more greyish mixture of the colors mentioned above. This time I have thinned the paints with Mr. Color Levelling thinner to get better surface. Now Im satisfied with the final look Thanks for looking jan Hubert Boillot, Trak-Tor, Artur and 3 others
