jean luc
here is the beginning of the cockpit structure still a lot of cleaning work before going further but the parts being very fragile it is easier to make the finishes once the elements are glued because it is more rigid as well an idea in the fuselage that will be nice in my opinion [/url LSP_Kevin and sandokan
jean luc
on a neighboring forum I have pointed out a problem with the dihedral which must indeed be neutral this is confirmed by a plan I was fooled by the front shot indeed if we look at the first picture of the post the dihedral is zero this is also comfirmed by the plan that the manufacturer kindly sent me it's not serious recovery is easy so I cut the wing in the center securely attaches the pieces to a slightly thick metal bar and do a solid collage with cyano corn flour load tonight after drying it will be old history sandokan and Gazzas

LSP_Ray
Great recovery on the wing! Lot better to fix it now than find out it is wrong after it is all painted and decaled! jean luc

jean luc
Hi everybody here are the latest advances the cockpit moves slowly now I attack the part that will ask me the most work the surface effects do not like me too much I find the engraving "not very precise" I filled the latter with cyano glue wanting to represent more finely the hot air extractor that I find behind the engine here with a certain Charles Lindbergh on command so I cut out the panel with these I should replace this party with a metal insert machined to cnc milling machine with the help of a friend After the insert in place and a final polishing it was time to regraver the surface and add the details that I have sanded it may seem complicated but the fact that it is a resin kit greatly facilitates the work this material is easier to work than plastic Edited January 14, 2018 by jean luc TorbenD, LSP_Kevin and sandokan

jean luc
this morning I focus on the upper wing the representation of the wing tanks is running out of treatment I've applied a layer of black surfacer to see what I'm doing the kit offers this representation I want something more neat and slightly raised after masking I applied a slightly thick layer of 1000 surfacer after complete drying I would polish these parts and would do a riveting and then come the vents and filling plugs
