shadowmare
Hi, my new project is a Trumpeter P-40B/Tomahawk in African RAF colors: Photo of my plane: It will be mostly from the box. Now i'm doing the cockpit. I found an easy way to correct it's too high position. I cutted the support for floor and i putted it under the back plate: After this i added an rib extension to cover a hole which appeared: I know that this is not entirely correct but for me it's good enough. shadowmare
Cockpit is ready for painting. I added some details and replaced kit seat with a part from Special Hobby P-400. It's not 100% correct but always better than kit one. Edited June 12, 2017 by shadowmare LSP_Kevin, FunkyZeit and Gazzas

Joel_W
the pit sidewalls are looking quite good. The color of the Interior Green paint and the associated weathering really does look dead on. The detail spring and cables for the tail wheel assembly is something we don't get to see very often. Looking forward to your next update. shadowmare
Thanks! Now it's time for making surface suitable for painting. I don't like this stage. Edited July 1, 2017 by shadowmare MikeMaben

Joel_W
Thanks! Now it's time for making surface suitable for painting. I don't like this stage. Not many of us like all the putty and sanding work either, but it's the key to a great paint job for sure. As the pros say: It's 90% of the painting process. More info: http://www.master-model.pl/product/am-32-098.html I will use Techmod decals for Spitfire because they contains decals with X needed for my scheme. dennismcc
Looking good, I think that this kit was the first Trumpeter kit that I built and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Cheers Dennis
