Tony T
Is there a model shop there? I know this place that does great coffee, and I'd like to get back to grinding roast beans at home. You know, the old fashioned grinders with the handle on top and a little drawer. Maybe there's a coffee grinder shop - "we specialise in small coffee grinders and unusual bicycle pumps" - on platform 3?
LSP_Mike
So, let's get to the discussion on the Spitty.....
KOG7777
I guess there's only so much that can be said since the kit is a ways off and we know pretty much nothing except that it's coming... I already have all the Tamiya and all the PCM Spitfires, so I can't get TOO excited... I just hope it has a pleasant balance of lots of features/options and a reasonable price. Would have preferred a Vb since I don't currently have a Vb in 1/32.
LSP_Mike
Well...... there is the Hase kit from.... uh, 1976 ..or so.
KOG7777
I will uh...... pass on the 40 year old kit. In hopes that something better will come along. The only old Hasegawa ones I'm interested in are the Hayabusa and Storch. Since I doubt we'll see anything better soon.
MikeC
I'm not sure whether I will. I enjoyed the Mk II, corrective work and all, but I've got a couple of Tamiya-San's finest awaiting my attentions one day, and some more IXs in 1:48. My biggest bugbear on the Mk II was the fat rear fuselage and wing root fillet: not difficult to fix, but time-consuming, and frankly not something one expects to have to do these days. Sorry, rant mode off.
