Shawn M
laid down the gloss to seal and protect the decals last night. Depending how today goes at work I should be able to get the final paint work and washes completed and start assembling this weekend. Shawn M
firing this thread back up as Im on a 1/35 SAS LRDG Jeep build too, the old Tamiya kit with a load of resin and pe (some good, some total crap) cut and clean/wash alllllllllllll the resin and kit stowage bits then assembly the fiddly chassis, I spent a lot of time on the leaf springs adding sharper lines to the straps and clamps on them as well as scribing lines deeper and a LOT of seam clean up. I also removed the front bumper beam (pe replacement) and the rear bumerp'ettes (pe replacement) then paint, wash, weather still need to add the skid plate and start scratches/chipping Out2gtcha, BiggTim, mpk and 1 other

LSP_K2
need to add pigments as well, hopefully not all over my damn bench, clothing and floor again I commented on a photo on facelook a couple of days ago. The guy (unintentionally) had made such a mess of earth tone pastels and pigments on the piece of paper he was working on, that he'd inadvertently created the single best looking winter snow/mud/dirt scene that I've ever seen in my life.
