Guest Peterpools
Hi Bro So very much appreciate the wonderful comments on the Mossie. Can you imagine, me even doing a bit of weathering ... just might be contagious. The exhaust stacks were a snap and easy to do, as the hardest part was figuring out how to remove then from the sprues before painting. Primed with MIG Black Primer Then I highly diluted some Model Color (Vallejo) Mahogany Brown and red and then dusted it on. When she looked good, I stopped. Followed up with a very light dry brushing of MIG Black Primer. Nothing special. Peter Edited October 4, 2016 by Peterpools

Piprm
Phil Thank you for the compliments on my Mossie. I'm looking forward to the paint shop, as it's my favorite part of a build. How are you feeling - hopefully close to your old self Peter Hi Peter, Thanks for your concerns... yes, I'm slowly recovering... doctors at the local hospital were very thorough in turning my condition around... I'm a lot stronger then last time I wrote here, though each time I look at the work bench.. i seem to automatically groan within myself .. so, I guess I'm not ready to recommence my hobby just yet.. though I can afford the extra time to 'think' and plan ahead. Cheers phil Edited October 5, 2016 by Piprm Jeff

Guest Peterpools
Ernie Thanks for the encouragement and I sure hope the judges feel the same. It's just been so many years since my last contest, I have no feel for how judging will work Peter
