109
Hi, last modeling and posting for 2013 ... I reworked the Handley Page slats and they are ready for installing: Also made a macro of a minor detail: panel line around the Beule on the upper wings: Also received my spinner from DoC - beautiful parts: And finally: Happy New Year 2014! 109
Hi, hope you all had a great start in 2014! Did some more work on my Gustav; e.g. left landing gear which will be seen under the wing. Edited January 4, 2014 by 109 Iain
SinuheH
Wow. nice work! You can be glad you're not riveting a Shackleton…. commonly called 10'000 rivers flying in close formation…..
Thomas Lund
Impressive work on the riveting - well the whole thing actually, but especially the rivets. I'll be following this one

dodgem37
Very nice riveting. Is that an exhaust port in lieu of a second scoop? Sincerely, Mark
109
Very nice riveting. Is that an exhaust port in lieu of a second scoop? Sincerely, Mark I have to add the rear scoops yet. The kit ones are located too high, they move a bit down almost inline with the front scoops. I have some resins scoops from cutting edge? I bought that stuff some years ago ... Bye! 109
Back on the Black 13 ... I bent the props and dry fitted them to the spinner/airframe. I bent them in boiling saltwater. Just bent them step by step tp prevent the plastic from breaking. Actually one blade broke and I had to use some putty on the crack. Comparing the first test fitting of the blades to the photos of the crash the upper blade needs to be bent even more down towards the cowling. Bye! LSP_Paul
Really nice work on the whole thing! The bent blades and collapsed gear will really draw attention to all the other meticulous detailing you have done. Keep up the great work!
