Slow progress, but getting some colour onto the floats. Used a combination of 0.7mm and 1.0mm AIZU masking tape between the layers of green.

Removing the tape shows the cartoon-like result. The bars on the lighter green camo colour have been mottled with an even lighter shade to feather the hard edges.

As always, inspirational work Ralph! The use of contrasting colours and then blending of those colours really makes a huge difference in the final appearance. It does look like you have a step or two to replace on the forward struts. Delicate little buggers I'm sure. Lookin' forward to seein' her all done.

Thanks for your comments Gents - appreciate the interest. Here' a bit more. Kit stencil decals, some water-based Flory Models weathering washes - a 50:50 mix of Mud Brown and Dark Dirt on the blue, and straight Mud Brown on the greens - and some Testors Dullcote.
