Brad-M
Umm...what do you mean by saying you were "shocked"? Brad as the proud owner of the IX kit, i can say i was shocked at the quality of the kit, despite it being bigged up for so long - really does have to be seen in one's hands to be believed anyhoo, what are the marking options for the VIII? have looked on a number of sites and couldn't find a detailed breakdown / profiles...is this info not out there yet? cheers Nick
nmayhew
Umm...what do you mean by saying you were "shocked"? Brad sorry for not making it clear - the kit is AWESOME in detail, complexity, mould quality, instrsuction booklet detail basically, when everyone rave about something for so long, very often when you actually have it in your hands it is rather a disappointment this is definitely NOT the case with this kit!!! in fact, i'm not sure i am worthy of it! Michael931080
Went to the one if only decent shops left in TO today and indeed saw the new Spit kit as well as the first issue. Looked briefly at it and it looks nice. Unfortunately and some will say "what??" its not my particular favourite british fighter. The price I think was good considering the detail we all come to expect from Tamiya. So for those waiting and those that have them enjoy! Cheers, Michael931080
cnimsk
I've got one on order from Sprue Brothers. UPS tracking shows it's in Albuquerque, my home, and should be delivered tomorrow, and I can't wait. I was surprised when I saw Sprue Brothers had them and ordered immediately. As I said, I can't wait. Chuck

is it windy yet?
The kit hit the shelf of my local shop today. I think we got 5 copies. I'm hoping that 1 might be left on Sunday when I go in to work. I picked up one from there this afternoon.
DaveJ
It's every bit as fantastic as you'd expect! Nice touch with the included mouse pad. Look for a review next week.

nmayhew
Just bought one from Eric YY $79 me too but they are stock taking or something, so awaiting confirmation why people are paying £100+ is beyond me...
Kagemusha
He emailed me a couple of hours ago, no doubt he's working his way through his emails. I like the fact some folk pay £100... £115 at Hannants...
