AEROPOXY
Here is my addition to few Beaver build topics on LSP . Started few months ago, photographed step by step, but only now i find some time to crop/resize and transfer the pics to Photobucket. First, no box, just kit parts, instruction(spartan) (i borrowed AIRFIX 1/72 one for details info), large decal sheet, and, nothing more, Kit will be upgraded with scratchbuilt interrior, windows and will be painted to looks like this one,

LSP_Ron
I luv the Beaver (please keep a straight face) And love flying in it. there is something that can't be described in words taxing in one with the door open listening to the P&W rattle away!! then throttling up until the noise is defining and breaking onto step then into the air. I used to fly on this one once a year on our annually fishing trip with my Brother in law. Sadly since his passing we don't go anymore. Yours looks great!!! AEROPOXY
Its paint time, first, white overall, i use Revell paints, semi gloss and gloss white, over the white primed surfaces. Then the masking was done, using Oramask masking foil, time consumption job. Revell Gloss Red was sprayed over the wing tips, wing stripe and fuselage sides. Floats are also masked and red stripe airbrushed, Black trim stripes are decals, clear decal film sprayed with gloss black and one coat of clear gloss cote, then cut with sharp No11 blade and applied. Fuselage top windows are decals, gloss black, , supplied with the kit. Wings, landing light on wing leading edge is gloss black decal. Black anti skid areas on the floats are Revell matt Dark Gray (anthrazit) .
AEROPOXY
Few finishing touches, custom printed decals, on Laser printer, red was quite transparent, so, two layers of decals applied, Radio antenas, steel wire, and topside windows - black decal supplied with the kit, and finished Beaver , Cedar Creek 1/24 scale, few months of work,

fam43
Hi aeropoxy, well done model of an old friend of mine. The beaver was the liason aircraft of the USArmy European headquarters in Heidelberg Germany in the late fifties. Ocasionally they did an Open Base Day and you could win a 15 min.flight with the beaver. At this time my father worked with the EES-Services of the Us-Army repairing jukeboxes refrigerators and so on. With this connection I got a flight. Will never forget the eardeavening sound of its 500hp radial. Beautiful colorsheme you choose.
mgbooyv8
Hi Aeropoxy, You made a very nice job of that Beaver! I have fond memories of that plane also (had a ride in one when I was a student). I didn't know there was a kit of it in 1/24th. Who issues it? Cheers, Peter
