  1. I too shall be following with considerable interest. You're certainly off to a great start!
  2. Brilliant and inventive as ever Geoff, it's really good to have you back in harness. Best, Jean
  3. Well done James, those are three very fine models. The beautiful paint job and light-touch weathering really give them something extra.
  4. Great work, neat painting, and a tidy solution to the aileron gap. Will be following with interest. Ain't that the truth!
  5. Welcome to LSP Des. I discovered your site courtesy of The Aerodrome, which I joined a few weeks ago after finally succumbing to the siren call of thoses WNW kits. For those of us who are attracted to WWI subjects but daunted by things like rigging or reproducing various types of wood, your site is a godsend. You make the various techniques look almost straightforward, though I think that has a lot to do with your explanatory and modelling skills. Jean
  6. Hi Geoff, I'm with Jerry, a new update on your incredible build is past due, we're all waiting here with bated breath. Best, Jean
  7. I don't know how I managed to miss this build up to now, but , that really is first-rate modelling!
  8. As others have said, very impressive, more convincing than quite a few plastic models I've seen. Like Loic, I think a WIP thread would be the cat's meaow.
  9. I bought my copy when the book first came out a couple of years ago, at the original price of 140$CAN, and I still feel that I got a fantastic bargain. As an aviation reference work, this one is in a league of its own, I don't know of any other that can touch it. FWIW. Jean
  10. Mike it's just great to see you here. I've been a devoted follower of your projects at the "other place", and have gained much inspiration from them. They just seem to bring together all the ingredients of great modelling: skill, resourcefulness, use of varied materials, authenticity and a great eye for detail. Best, Jean
  11. Mouth-wateringly beautiful. And its great to be able to follow your progress right here on LSP!
  12. I shall also be following this one with interest. The kit looks really accurate and should provide the basis for a top-notch replica.
  13. Beautiful, crisp work.
  14. Geoff, you are a colossus bestriding the world of modelling. You know, of course, what your logical next step is: a totally scratch-built Mustang! This build is a practise run. Jean P.S. don't mention the "S" word please.
  15. Geoff, you clever so-and-so, that's brilliant! PM sent. Jean
  16. God'll get you for that! P.S. I've got a 4 year head start nah, nah, nah
