  1. Yup, and the news item for the He-219, which was listed just above the London bus, has indeed been removed!!! It is looking nice, from what I saw.
  2. Other solution: if you put the B-25 on a base in a diorama you don't need any weight, just pin and glue it to the base.
  3. Got mine from PCM yesterday! Wow, it is big! The moldings look incredible!
  4. I would take a set, Derek! Can't believe I missed yours, JR (though maybe I should check my stash before saying that...).
  5. "Jennings I have asked you this question on three different forums and still no response. It seems you are only interested in selling your decals but not helping modellers to actually use them. Are you listening to your customers? I am asking nicely: Do your decals need a clear coat before they are applied? I would appreciate the courtesy of a response" Not Jennings, but I thought I would try and help. I have made my own decals with an ALPS printer, an inkjet, and with a laser printer. In my experience, a clear coat is not required with either the ALPS or laser printed decals, but they are more delicate than screen printed so a clear coat can help with protecting them, if desired. I definitely recommend a clear coat after application, just like any other decal. Never hurts to do a trial run with some extras to see how they perform, either.
  6. Me? I am a modelling whore. I will buy anything LSP the modelling manufactureres will produce, from WWI to present. I do stay away from civil and racing as I prefer military. Therefore, I have several German a/c as they have released several. But I do like to represent as many countries as possible so some will be in Rumanian, Hungarian, Czech, Israeli and other colors.
  7. The kits are well deserved, Simon! Look forward to your next release!
  8. Scratchbuilders is long gone. Late to this topic, but I also have an Avenger kit and a HK kit on the way so let me know if you find something else you need. Also have some Scratchbuilder gunsights although note sure if I have the correct one...
  9. It is my understanding the Trumpy MiG-21's (and their MiG-19's) are some of their better kits, although I don't remember where the specific reviews were. I am sure Google could find you some.
  10. Great tarp! What kind of tissue did you use?
  11. I agree with most of what has been posted. I can see where Dave woudn't want to cut up what is a rare sheet. Probably you should have worded your e-mail asking if he had any rejected or partial sheets with the nameplate intact. However Dave could have replied in a more professional manner, simply explaining he couldn't replace the sheet, to one of your first e-mails rather than just ignore them.
  12. Great looking P-40, Brian! The foil finish is stunning!
  13. It is worth what someone is willing to pay! That is what free market is all about! I am surprised Trumpy never released an early version themselves, to tell you the truth.
  14. The ski version does not include the standard landing gear. However, IIRC the standard single-seater has the same plastic (and therefore wing style) as the ski-equipped kit, except for that gear.
  15. No generic numeral set that I am aware of. Linden Hill makes a set titled "Iraqi Fighters" that has several numbers, 1/32 Iraqi Fighters, the 1/48 th scale set includes more numbers, many of which I think are large enough for 1/32, too. 1/48 Iraqi Fighters
  16. Trumpy P-51 needs a new canopy... Steve Galucci(sp?) had a list of stuff for the Trumpy 109 & 190D.
  17. I have used it. And like you said, the worst part is the strings it creates. You have to be really careful.
  18. Looks great, Bill! I have the same kit in the stash - and the same Montex mask set! Sure you don't want to make a few sets of those revised details?
  19. Looks great, Jerry! I will have to get a set!
  20. Interested for sure! They look great, Harold!
