  1. The Instruction where indeed not always clear, YouTube was very helpful. In preparation, I followed the 1/35 AH-64E build at Nigels modeling bench.
  2. Takom 1/35 AFH-64D Royal Netherlands Air Force. For a long time, in order to keep the variety, I have been urging to make a helicopter. For the most part it is an OOB build with the exception of the cockpit, I used Eduard's update set for that. The FLIR lenses were made from an old DVD. As paint I used US HELO drab from AK real color. I have recently started using AK Real color and I really enjoy airbrushing with it. For the weathering process I mix the main color slightly lighter with the different tones, then I used the wethering sets from AK. The model is quite detailed. apart from the few challenges it was a pleasure to build and I didn't encounter any major issues I used LSP and You Tube for inspiration. the last four photos I used for the weathering process cheers Otto
  3. What a work of art! especially considering the quality of Revell.
  4. Incredibly beautiful and inspiring. When I start working on mine, I will certainly use your report as a guide
  5. Beautiful build. when you glue the nosegear make sure it's in the wright position. At the last picture it's positioned backwards.
  6. Sent me a Pm with you adress, I've got one spare .
  7. I also like the camo, and got simulair like yours with the decals in my stash. So I'll be following your build with interest. But the first this one....
  8. It's a lovelly kit to build, with it's share of challenges. Ready to build my 7th Starfighter. What I really like about the Starfighters is the variety in liveries and sceams
  9. Hi Anthony, do you have the DC-3 or the C-47? The DC-3 comes with a passenger compartment.
  10. They go only up to 48th
  11. For a couple of years now I'm the proud owner of the 1/32 HPH DC-3. Overwelmed by the number of resin parts, in combination with the price I bought it for I did not have the confidence in my skills tot start. After some time and finnishing the Trumpeter F-14D with all the Zacto add-ons I believe the time is wright to start with the DC-3. But the decals in the kit are okey but not my first choice. Are there aftermarked decelas out there? I prefer NMF speccialy a U.S.A.F, but its a DC-3 not a C-47. It would fit perfectly with my B-17,s and B-24,s. Hoping for some pointers. Otto
  12. I'm sorry to hear. I'ts like nowadays you're not allowed to have beatiful stuff. There is always someone in the vicinity who is jealous and take it from you or damage it. It happend to me a month ago... For a couple of months I was the proud owner of a 2019 BMW 330D original M, it had all the bells and wisle's. Till one morning.... I wanted to go of to work and noticed that some broke is open and took the stearingwheel, BMW I-drive, Gear leaver, screen and the HUD. The BMW dealer informed me that it would take at least 2 months to repair becouse of a shortage in parts and labour. At least 15K to reapair So the insurance company declaired it totalled. Two weaks after I left the car in the trusted hands of the insurance company I tracked the car with the BMW app and noticed it was fully driving again in the eastern part of Europe.....

  15. Hi Koralik, What a beautiful build with a master paint job. due to the lack of details in the cockpit I last motivation, so mine ended at the shelf of doom. I do hope I'll end up finishing the Wessex. In mine opinion it's so ugly I love it......
