  3. Nice collection Pete!!! I really like the Artic F-16 and the RAF Tornado too, of course! I hope to see the Harrier in the 2021... CIAO! Piero
  4. They are all so good and such different subjects... Bravo Eric! CIAO! Piero
  5. Very very nice Phantom!!! CIAO! Piero
  6. WOW!!! What a productivity in a year... and with an high level quality... I'm impressed! CIAO! Piero
  7. Happy New Year my friends! I hope you are all safe & healthy! Here some pics of the models in 1/32nd scale that I have started and finished in the orrible-2020... AMI Tornado IDS - Revell Czech AF MiG-23BN - Trumpeter + HPH conversion USN F/A-18C Hornet - Academy CIAO! Piero
  8. Hello my friends, thank you very much for your compliment on my Legacy Hornet! Yes, those blue practice bombs are in fact LGTR (Laser Guided Training Round). Now its time to start my Czech's MiG-29A. CIAO! Piero
  9. Hello, first Merry Christmas to you my friends. Here some pics of my last built, an US Navy F/A-18C of VFA-22 Fighting Red Cocks. The kit is from Academy, with some aftermarket added as a resin ejection seat, PE for the interiors and exterior details, resin seamless jet intakes and resin engine exhaust. Other items used are for the external play load. Decals are from Two Bobs. Painted with Gunze and Tamiya acrylic colours. And now enjoy the pics. ...
  10. Last update here. The landing gears are done... mybe one of the most difficult part of the kit to put together... and a lot of details were added too. The a resin SJU-5/6 ejection seat finished with Vallejo colors. For the end the canopy... again, a lot of details were added inside the frame. TA-DAAA!!! All pieces went together and so my big USN F/A-18C Hornet of VFA-22 is now finished... On the RFI forum section soon. CIAO! Piero
  11. Hi Rob, I used the Isracast Nesher conversion for the old Revell kit form my Nesher using the new Italeri Mirage IIIE kit. Here the result. The effort to fit the resin nose to the plastic part was minimum, just a disc of plasticard was required as spacer between the parts. For the wheel bays you can use the parts from the same conversion set or you can use the specific resin set from Eagle Design. CIAO! Piero
  12. Hi, I think you're doing a really good job with this new kit. Plastic parts looks good but with your effort in painting and assembling they become great! I'll follow this WIP with much interest on. CIAO! Piero
  13. We are almost at the same point whit our Legacy Hornets
  14. ... some works has been done also on the airplane itself. The airbrake vane is detailed and painted. Same for the area around the cockpit. The wheel bays got my attention too. Here you can see the result of my effort to flatten the "rounded" top spine... Now its time to work on the undercarriage legs and wheels. CIAO! Piero
  15. ... going on the ventral attachment points. We have a FLIR pod and Laser Tracking pod coming form the Academy kit. The external fuel tanks will go one under the center-line pylon and the other is already glued under the pylon 6. An inert CAMT-88 Harm from the Academy kit is glued under the pylon 7. Last but not least is the ACMI pod Type C attached to the right LAU-7 launch rail. This pod is a little gem produced by Bandit Resin Factory... a must for my Legacy Hornet! ...
  16. Hello, some progress on my Legacy Hornet. I worked on the external loads, an asymmetrical training load. Starting from the left external rail we have a blue CATM-9M already installed on its LAU-7 launch rail. All form the Academy kit. An IR's yellow cap (Aerobonus) and a red Remove Before Flight tag are applied. Pylon 1 is my favorite load: a IMER (Eduard Brassin) with two LGTR drills (Trumpeter). Red caps and RBF tags complete the work. Pylon 2 get and inert AGM-65 Maverick (ResiKit) with his red cap and RBF tag. ...
  17. Hi Angelo, I can't see any pics...
  18. Oh yes! I would like to see also a good pair of Matra Type 155 SNEB rocket pod... not for the Tornado, I know, but still not covered in this scale by the after-maket. CIAO! Piero
  19. Hi, as the other guys said, the big Airfix's Harrier is a good old kit that can be turned out in a great Harrier model. This is my GR.3. CIAO! Piero
  20. Correct... sorry for the poor quality of the photo... all the GR.4s in the decal sheet are in two-tones Grey or all Medium Sea Grey schemes.
