  1. Excellent news and a promising look!
  2. Ah, nothing like a Buchon smile to start the day! Lovely work Kev!
  3. I'm sorry to hear than and more than happy to wait!
  4. I may need to spring for a set of those legs, they look and sound fantastic! EDIT: darn, sold out!
  5. Thank goodness I saved myself that embarrassment
  6. We occasionally do RND here but I don't believe any of the fighter jocks got into it like that!!
  7. Whenever I visited the site post-end-of-production I would save whatever page I was visiting to the Internet Archive, but I'm afraid I didn't go anywhere near the vast majority of them. I'm glad I was able to do my bit!
  8. I was going to ask Dave Hadfield on Facebook but great to see that photo from red Dog!
  9. Sure will!! Another excited follower here. Are you doing the Shuttleworth machine?
  10. One of my favourite parts of modelling warbirds and preserved aircraft
  11. I really, really like the look of the rib tapes based on my own close-up looks at NH799 (as seen in the photo I posted earlier). They look fantastic!
  12. I'm going to buy one of these next week once my pay comes through. It's truly inevitable. I knew it was coming, but Gazza your photos have really pushed me over the edge. Goddamnit
  13. For that one must build the confidence to attempt it - I have a paper 1/33 Avro kit which is probably a good primer!
  14. They say the museum will be open April-September in its current location...Reno is in September...and I may be going...FHC/FHCAM has been on my To Do list since day one so I am very, very excited. Also I've been waiting for that Stuka to fly since I was seven so I'm hoping Steuart continues it to airworthiness! They do seem to have a good core of pilots - or at least did back in the Allen days - but I'm sure it'll all come together. And what an event it will be!
  15. I say keep going - you've done wonderful work so far. ...and you can always build another when the MM nose is out
  16. The very same. Sadly she'd already departed for the US by the time I got to Wanaka but I hope to see her there one day.
  17. You and me both! Don't tease! Man oh man that would be nice, even in 1/48!
  18. I don't know about you all but I'd rather like a -I: This is the aircraft now at the Flying Heritage and Combat Armor Museum in the USA.
  19. As I said on another forum modelling warbirds is my "thing", and I have a particular preserved example to build from this kit too, and to see RR232 so lovingly reproduced is a real treat. Bravo!!
