  1. I'm about halfway through a "shake-n-bake" build of the Trumpy Skyraider. It has a few inaccuracies but it's an easy build so far. On the other hand some people lose their mojo if a kit is too easy, if you'd rather have something challenging with rewarding results you could try a Special Hobby kit.
  2. Now I wish I could go to Telford... Hope the price will be similar when it gets to the European market...
  3. Modellbau König has it on preorder now for €145... Must resist...
  4. That RRP has me worried, though. That's about the same price as their Black Widow for a plane almost twice that size. I'm wondering/worried what they might have done to cut costs...
  5. Came out months ago in Europe. Lot of money for those extra electro bits...
  6. +1 for the Jun Air. These are originally made for dentists so very good quality and very quiet. If you can find one second hand at a good price, I'd say go for it!
  7. Cool find Juraj, I'm currently building this one to put up in my kids room Of course I'll be using the "My Dad" decal. Are you planning on building it?
  8. Whew, I knew a web store that still had one for sale. Funny how easily you can go from "may want at some point" to "must have" after reading this sort of stuff.
  9. Apparently the scale drawings they used as a basis for the kit have some errors in them, the MDC kit is supposed to be more accurate.
  10. I highly doubt that will be a retool, maybe some altered parts at most. Would love to see them release the four engine version at some point.
  11. With your permission I might give it a try at some point. Not sure when though, life seems to be getting in the way of everything lately... yaaay, adulting...
  12. Very cool with those lights, some amazing photography skill as well. Would be cool to Photoshop a bit of space in the background.
  13. Not making promises but I'm interested. Got a few of the aforementioned options in the stash.
  14. Thanks for the info, Chek, just what he was looking for!
  15. Posting this for a friend of mine: "On the lookout for the layout, dimensions of a brake chute for an F-4 (1/48 scale). I want to have one of my Spooks with a deployed chute but (except for pictures) not much to find around the interweb. Any help on my quest would be appreciated."
  16. Love myself some Bandai! Nice start!
  17. I've used them for dot filters and I think they work really well. No problems with the caps so far.
  18. Cool stuff, been thinking about doing one of these. Got the Iguan in stash but he's a bit boring compared to the other ones.
  19. Sounds to me they're trying out how much they can get away with... No thanks, Eddy, baby!
  20. Thanks, I used an Eduard cockpit set and Master Model pitot tubes, everything else is OOB. That's vegetableism.
  21. Love the weathering on that jeep.
