Hello, We talked about the color of the underside, gray or blue? I just painted the two tanks with the particularity of using two colors mentioned FS 35622 and FS36622. One of the tank with its front part painted with U.S colors, the rear part with IAF color scheme,as seen in some pictures No stencils as shown in the references, I decided to make rather dirty, it gives them look of having served.

Sometimes difficult to tell the difference on the pictures, I also used a thin layer of gray 36622 on the light blue base 35622. There exist a picture in the book Isradecal page 21 or you can see the difference in color shade underneath a tank composed of two different camouflage, IAF rear section and US in front section. The difference of grey and light blue is clearly visible, but I can not publish the photo, copyrights.

Thanks guys. Bill, The blue or light blue FS35622 like A-4 Skyhawk and Kfir .... Only the last Skyhawk and KFIR C7 use the gosht grey FS 36375 on the underside. Also some fuel tank have the USAF colors, green 34079 and light grey 36622. Besides i think paint one of my two fuel tank with the US color.

Hi Bill, Acrylics Aqueous Hobby color from Mr Hobby, old Gunze Sangyo. Blue FS 35622 H-314: underside. Yellow sand FS 33531 H 313. Brown FS 30219 H-310. Green FS 34227 H-312. Thinned with Tamiya X-20A for the base coat. Thinned with Alcool 90° for the fine shading(very fast drying). Happy hunting.

Hello shan, Sorry,it is the only and first photos of the model during painting. After applying the base color I cleared the panels with airbrush and lighter color very diluted. The panel lines are treated with oil paint diluted (black and burn earth) and dry pastels brushed with a flat brush. Way to proceed fairly conventional.

Hello, I started painting and decorating. First the underside and the nose, for now, the contrast seems a bit too strong because of the camera flash. It is painted with acrylic Gunze and decals are from Skydecals and Isradecals stencils sheet. All stencils in Hebrew offered by Skydecals are not applied, the Kurnass 2000 does not carry all of these stencils. Some stencils from Skydecals are unusable because too great,already noticed the same problem with decals for Avia 199. I use the old sheet from Cutting edge and Isradecals stencils to replace the too great decals.

Hello, A little up with the subsets which will be placed on the model at the end of assembly. I like to do this long before any The landing gear,not finely detailed but solid. Some cables added and Eduard wheels. The missile launcher from Isracast. The upper pylon fromTamiya is a slightly modified on the front. The "Pave Spike" from Isracast is really beautiful and fine in detail, just a little painting done. I hope to soon. Babs?
