Anzys braided wires: which glue to use?
TwoHands replied to Grunticus's topic in Construction & Scratch-building
I have had some success with adding a drop of fast CA to the braid before I cut it and then glue in place with slow/black CA. -
I want one and whatever Peter makes for it. I'm sure that aftermarket support will be there like it was for the Hellcat. It's not Tamiya but it would really suck if I have to wait for Tamiya to come out with all the models I want to build. I'm way more loyal to my interest than I am to any brand. Yea, I'll take two now that I have thought about it.

I don't have one because of the issues you are dealing with...

Lots of detail/cost wasted on stuff that will be forever unseen IMO.

Can Ibuy your drop tanks???

Matchbox 1/32 Westland Lysander: Engine weathering starts..
TwoHands replied to Cap'n Wannabe's topic in Works in Progress
Did the Lysander land on the "shelf of doom"? -
I bet a simple grit blaster with baking soda would take off the decal film and leave the rivets and a better surface for paint.

GAWD that's a lot of rivets. How many sheet do you think this plane will take?

I don't know where I got it but I have a multi view line drawing if the V18 with captions in Russian. I either got it from you or saved it with you in mind. I don't have a hosting site so no idea how to get it to you. PS- I sent a message through the Airscale web site.

1/32 Nakajima Ki-27 - 77th Sentai - Burma 1942
TwoHands replied to Alex's topic in Works in Progress
I'm running Firefox and I have to use "view image" and then I can't use the "back" button to get back to LSP. I ended up using "copy image location" opening a new tab and then using "paste and go". -

I have learned in my own modeling that the limit of my ability extends to the number of times I can get it wrong before I get it right and my sanity. I wish you success!- 1,636 replies

KH T-6/Harvard Kicked Up A Notch: Apr 14/20: Finished!
TwoHands replied to chuck540z3's topic in Works in Progress
Bravo on the canopy solution! I always tell myself when things are just right- nobody will look as close as I am right now! -
That might get me to finally pull the trigger on that huge Fokker...

Yellow aircraft in general are very hard to model and harder to decal. You have done a tremendous job with this plane! Are you going to do anything to restore rivet detail on the markings? -
D.B. Would you post an updated list of which gear are already in production? Even the ones that may be out of stock?

I am starting to think painting this model will be a crime. Love all that detail work!
