  1. Any others pics of "LIL' BUCK" ? I had seen that one in Osprey's P-40 CBI Aces book
  2. Would love to have more info on that CACW checker-nose P-40N !
  3. From author Lawrence Hickey, back in 2008, answering to my questions about that A-20 : <I do have info on "Barry's Baby," which was one of two marked with nose art relating to the INS (International News Service) personnel who visited the 90th SQ, probably sometime in early 1944.(...) The shark's mouth was not a marking on a particular A-20, it was on all the 90th SQ A-20s until about the late-spring of 1944.>
  4. Some others options in the 90th BS, 3rd BG. Nearly all displayed a sharkmouth. I had the opportunity to exchange a few messages with author Lawrence J Hickey, back in the 90s, but unfortunately, vol.2 of his 3rd BG study isn't yet published... https://irandpcorp.com/products/3bg1/ I have saved about 20 pics of 90thBS A-20 but don't know if some decals have been released in 1/32... PM me if needed. Another source of info would be Pacific Profiles #3, but I don't have it... https://www.hyperscale.com/2022/reviews/books/pacificprofilesvol3bookreviewdc_1.htm
  5. Ordered also a kit + decals and resin bits, from France: good prices, cheap postage & ultra-quick service. Amazing !
  6. Fantastic ! Even if the Trumpeter kit isn't one of their best, your model is amazing ! I will share a link on the 51st FG Facebook page.
  7. Well, if "black crosses" are top sellers, and a correct P-51B is still missing in 1/32, maybe they can release one including the markings of the Mustang flown by the Zircus Rosarius ! https://falkeeins.blogspot.com/2014/11/p-51-mustang-t9-hk-wanderzirkus.html https://www.venturapublications.com/news/publish/printer_Ventura-decal-v4895-captured-luftwaffe.shtml
  8. Contents: https://www.super-hobby.fr/products/P-40E-K-WARHAWK-FLYING-TIGERS-2466568.html
  9. IIRC, there was another boxing that offered the 2 tails, but I may be wrong... Too bad that Eduard didn't re-issued that one...
  10. You may want to ask to Krys Lanowski (on Facebook) as his dad flew HV-Z, but looking at the pics, satin would be your best choice.
  11. Not sure (yet) that they are the Kitty Hawk kits... but most probably.
  12. These cute resin cars are made by NEKO, but hard to find, now...
  13. Looking forward to see your build ! I love that one with her NMF wings !
  14. Sorry, but there were no early P-40B/C used by the French AF... they only used Curtiss H-75s.
  15. Very nice, Tolga ! Bob Gale would have loved it. I did some research on this one, on my blog: https://burmabansheesblog.blogspot.com/ Too bad he never explained the reason behind the "chin" white marking or the checkered wingtip... At least another 88th FS P-40N displayed such wing markings.
  16. Hope we'll see the P-39 re-released. An option for a P-400 version would be nice, even if there is already one from Special Hobby
  17. Fantastic models ! Pure art. What is this (NAVY ?) plane looking like a '30s racer ?...
  18. Yep, but this helps to understand how the P-47 was built. Maybe a cheaper version without all that stuff would be nice, however.
  19. Hasegawa should re-release their 1/32 P-40K: very hard to find...
  20. ...just in case I may have missed some new info
  21. Yes, I know that skulls varied in shape and outline when the markings were "updated". Thanks for your comment about my blog. I keep trying to dig up new infos "Dikam Death" is certainly one of the most interesting 88th FS machines, but Rising Decals doesn't seem to be interested into 1/32...
  22. I see your point, Tolga and you may be right about a spinner swap. I have some video stills from a color film showing some Burma Banshees P-40Ns. A former P-40N-1 type can be seen there and her spinner is red. She also displays the "pair of dices" on her wheel hubs: https://burmabansheesblog.blogspot.com/2014/10/burma-banshees-p-40-line-up.html If I ever build the 1/32 P-40N I have, that will be "Dikam Death" flown by Bob Gale but the tail number isn't confirmed by any pic (yet)...
  23. Excellent & lovely build (as usual !) Tolga ! I studied that unit & wrote an article for "Le Fana de l'Aviation" magazine with some new infos. Only mistake is about the spinner color: Sq/Signal got it right as the 89thFS color (#49 & #51 were 89thFS machines) was red 88thFS was white, and 90thFS was dark blue. See my blog for more research work: https://burmabansheesblog.blogspot.com/
