Go in with some tan pigment to give it a texture, the powder will tone it back and add depth to it. then do a lite wash over it. All it needs is that added texture.

Murph, thanks for checking out my figure. I started with the Verlinden guy because he was inexpensive.  I have a bunch of 120MM guys bookmarked on Ebay, just have to sell some stuff off to buy more some day.  Among them are Alpine, S&T(now OOP) and a few others =-) I like the guy you did too.

Fantastic Looking Job if you want a great figure try the Alpine Miniatures 16th scale lines that is the one I love to paint.

Have fun with this one Kev, I loved backdating the Trump Kit when I did mine. a lot of work but at least you are using AM parts, let me know how the Kit works out for you. I had used the Lone Star Kit for mine next time it will be the Tamiya for me.
But there is just something about scratch building that makes it better.

Well I almost didn't start this one as I saw John was in the middle of his, and didn't want to take anything away from his build. 
But it was the next one planned on the build list so here it is. I started on the wheel wells not going to add very much to this one so should be a quick build.
