  1. i have the 2 trumpeter kits, i have not built them yet but I went in this direction because of the finish and the fit of the kit. (I got them used packed with am). after building 2 Hasegawa tomcats I just wanted something easier to build vs accuracy

The intake is the big downside, I'm planning on putting covers on them to camouflage it a bit since Zacto is no longer selling them.

Maybe reskit will do a set ?

Also Luckymodels has them in stock for a very decent price point !

Interesting... :hmmm: Thanks Neo. Aren't they based in Hong Kong? I can do the sums and see what the GBP value is with shipping

Shipping if your not in a hurry "A flat, US$20 shipping charge for orders over US$90." to the UK. LuckyModels are the owners of Kinetic hence best place to go for stock and pricing.

That is why it’s convenient to switch from one to another. When I want it quick, I use lacquer. When I have more time (or I’m using the paint brush), I use acrylics.

When AK called their new range 3GEN, my initial reaction was ‘whatever you say, bud’. I was wrong! The 3GEN are newly-formulated and behave differently, much easier to use for modelling.

Interesting, i use ak laquers but they are impossible to brush, might grab a couple critical colors in 3gen for that

K2, I've got a full Red Fox cockpit set for the Kinetic 1:24 Jug that you can have if you want it.

I'd been looking to buy one for ages, but they'd been out of stock at my usual go-to places. When I got an e-mail saying stock of the Kinetic kit had arrived, I jumped in and bought the cockpit set at the same time - happy days?

...only to get a further e-mail saying that they'd made a mistake alerting me that stock had come in and was available - it hadn't, and there wasn't one. And it's been out-of-stock ever since.

..so I've pretty much given up on it now.

And that's a long winded way of saying it's yours, if you want it Kev!

Did you know all 3 versions are in stock at luckymodel? Their running a 10 &20% discount too (you can see the newsletter on the home page)

  5. could be interesting, but will depend on the price point , for a B-17 and B-25 i could maybe make a 1/35 exception but not if its at the Lancaster price point, i don't have the HK versions yet so maybe, or ill just wait for ppl to dump the HK versions for cheap!

I was using the Evolution AL for a long time and I loved the light weight design. It was getting a bit "tired" after heavy use so I upgraded to the infinity 1½ years ago. It is a really nice airbrush but I always found it a bit of a nuisance to work with the heavy weight compared to the Evolution AL. This new limited edition is the answer to my prayers. This is the Infinity CR Plus (in Light Weight Aluminium) AL Version AND it comes with the brand new H&S nozzle sizes of 0.28mm and 0.45mm. I have always found my sweet spot to be around 0.30mm so until now I was using the 0.40mm nozzle. The 0.20 is just too small for the way I work.

Can´t wait to take it for a test run ;)

    /Niels

PS - it comes in 4 different designs inspired by the four seasons. This one is called "Fall". They say they will only make 250 of each design

    That looks nice
