Sabre F-86
I'll second that. Armorama has a good coverage, fresh articles, how-tos and a good forum. Sabre
LSP_Ray
Tracklink is very good, too. Pretty close to LSP in tone. http://www.track-link.net/
dutik
I prefer Track-Link. www.track-link.net Great community like here at LSP. Real names, so no spamming, trolling or flames. Vast knowledge base even about odd topics (heck, there was once an in-depth discussion about Commonwealth footwear and proper bulling of army boots ). No need for registration (but possible, if preferred). Regards! - dutik

jeroenpeters
I've done a lot of armour modeling, and have found some great artists out there. Track-link used to be a daily stop-over. Here's and artist you should have a look at. He builds at amazing speed (about 1 model a week) and uses a kind of impressionist style. http://www.geocities.jp/shige122112/tank.html Cheers, Jeroen
jeroenpeters
Oh, and here's one you should have look at as well. Nothing to do with 1/35 modeling, but everything to do with 1/6 diorama's. http://www.vonabt.co.uk/siteindex/siteindex.htm
joe
I tried to register on Missing Links but was not admitted. Maybe I am not the proper pedigree? Hehe. I would like to get involved somewhere though, any idears? J I kind of know what you mean about this forum. There are some excellent builds/modellers but the forum makes me feel like unless you can build to a world famous standard - dont bother posting any builds.... I might be completely wrong but I'd rather post my armour builds here. I like the atmosphere.... Like the others have mentioned both Track Link and Armorama are good. I also like Planet Armour this one seems more laid back then some of the others. The reviews on the Perth Military Modelling site are very comprehensive - it's a great site. I am also a big fan of the first link that Jeroen posted. This guys work is spectacular! Edited April 10, 2011 by joe
Eli Raphael
While talking about armor, who makes the best .50 ammo belts? Thanks
dutik
You by yourself, if you pick up Voyagers ammo box set and start to bend every single link to insert every single bullet: http://www.perthmilitarymodelling.com/reviews/vehicles/voyager/vm_vbs0301.html Beside the fiddly bits: there are only 10 links abd bullets inside, but these are as close as possible to the real deal in 1/35. Otherwise there was a resin set a while ago. Maybe by Accurate Armour or Jaguar? The common PE stuff is plain flat so not a good option to show that kind of stuff with the real large bullets.
