Azgaron
Looks very nice with the blue in contrast to the silver! HÃ¥kan
dmthamade
Can't remember ever seeing the Italeri 104 in a colorful build like yours, looks good. It does go together quickly, doesn't it? Tempted to do another. Don
BloorwestSiR
Thanks Harv, HÃ¥kan and Don. The blue and silver scheme with the tiger on it really makes it stand out. If you leave the engine out, it really does go together quite readily. I've got another one in the stash that will be done as a all red RCAF plane with a white swoosh done the side. BloorwestSiR
I did a bit more work tonight. I masked off and painted the intake lips black. I then touched up the silver and added the tailplane and wingtip tanks. I also painted the gear bay doors. Next, I wrapped the piston sections of the gear legs in chrome foil. Now to let things dry a bit before a clear coat and decals. Carl MikeC, BradG and Shaka HI
Shaka HI
Looks great! The panel lines on this kit looks to be a bit overdone? Or is the silver paint just accentuating it?

BloorwestSiR
Thanks Shaka and HÃ¥kan! Shaka, the panel lines are a bit deep. In fact they vary in thickness and depth which had been one of the criticisms of the kit. i guess it can be a bit off-putting but I'm OK with it. We had a heat advisory here all weekend long so I managed to get a bit more done. But first i took the family to see a crit race downtown. It's great to see bike racing on city streets again. Makes it very accessible for everyone. Anyways, I painted on the turbine warning stripe after a quick masking. Then it was time for deekals! I'm using the Zotz set for the kit. I started with the tail section and worked my way forward. So far I just have the port side done. Time to let it dry and then the other side.
