r0t0rdr1ver
This will be my first entry into this group build, Hasegawa's venerable P-51 Mustang. I have some aftermarket to throw at it as well, Rutman wheel well, landing gear, wheels, prop, canopy and cockpit, Quickboost pylons, Eduard etch, HAD etch, GM tail wheel bay, and some Leading Edge decals for an RCAF bird. mozart
Should be an interesting build with all those extra bits, I'll keep an eye on it. Max
dmthamade
The Leading Edge sheets have some pretty colorful birds, which one are you going to do? on D Jeff
r0t0rdr1ver
Here's a shot of some of the aftermarket goodies. Don, I haven't decided on a scheme yet, but I think it's between 424 Aux. Sqn. Hamilton Tigers BA-S or one of the 402 City of Winnipeg Sqn. aircraft. Derek B, BradG and Lothar
r0t0rdr1ver
Some very minor progress, test fitting of Jerry's cockpit sidewalls, and making a mess of the ammo bays with Tamiya Extra Thin. Also drilled out the carb vents, but I think I'll end up using etch for these. Some very minor cutting and sanding to make the Rutman sidewalls fit (meant for the Dragon kit). r0t0rdr1ver
Quick question guys, does anyone make a set of shrouded exhausts in 1/32 for the P-51D?
Ralph-D
Quick answer, no (sorry!) Quickboost done it for the P-51B but in my own opinion, they are awfull. Red Roo did unshrouded ones for the RAF Mustang, no clue about the quality. This is missing on the after market top notch P-51 exhaust in 1/32. (Moskit OOP & Rexx promised since ano.....)
