And then there were two. Why waste a lot of time thinking about using one to cast two when there were enough spare parts left from the first undercarriage leg to make the second. Thankfully they are identical so no lopsided Halifax I reckon. :unsure:

Next project, the bombbay.

 

This is one complicated beast. Now I know why Phil closed the bombdoors on his Halifax. Still, it's fun doing it, the pics come in handy.

absolutely fantastic! a modellers dream. ofcourse its alot of work, but nothing unreachable. you will be soooo much proud of yourselfe when you have finished that bird. what a project! absolutely enviable.

As you can see I have done the structure across the bombbay floor, now I have to

fit the lenghtswise bits and pieces.When finished it should look like a Halifax

bombbay. The FM kit is completely wrong in this respect.

 

Jay, have you already sent the Hampden pics?

Cees surely Scotland wasn't that bad :D that you managed to get all that work done :blink: If you were near good old Edinburgh and with the weather that we have had I could have filled the hours :P Looking great all that work and I hope you enjoyed your Holiday in the BEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD :D :P :(
