All things considered, the mantlet is not actually too bad, though completely devoid of any casting or machine marks. Also, the MG 34 gun muzzle, which is inaccurate, is molded in-place, so I'll probably use the barrel/muzzle from the MG that was intended for the ring mount.

Barrel actually looks quite decent, with what appears to be correct proportions and details, including the (not shown here) internal baffle inside the muzzle brake itself. Some pin marks to clean up, but should build into an authentic looking replica, I think.

I got to thinking, an M3 Stuart would be a good kit in this scale, as would a jeep. You could get a stuart, Honey, aand Marine stuart.
