John1
Anyone know if there are aftermarket uncuffed Ham-Stan propeller blades out there? These were pretty common on Korean War F-51's. I thought someone offered these in resin but I've been Googling for a while and can't find anything. Any info is appreciated. John
R Palimaka
Grey Matter Figures used to make a nice set, but they don't seem to be listed on their eBay store anymore. Red Roo Models in Australia produces a set of cuffless HS props too: https://www.redroomodels.com/product/red-roo-p-51-cac-hamilton-standard-cuffless-blades-chisel-tip-1-32/ I may have a spare set of the Red Roo blades. I can check on Monday when I get home. Richard
DONG
John Google Quickboost #32144 and 32145, there for the Trumpeter kit but do fit the Tamiya kit. HTH Don
BloorwestSiR
Tamiya may be coming out with a Korean War F-51D. Lucky Model has one listed as a future release. https://www.luckymodel.com/scale.aspx?item_no=TA 60328 No release date is listed though. Gazzas
I've been curious about these cuffs for the last couple of years. Is there any publicized data on how they improved performance for the Jug or P-51?
