dodgem37 Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 What an amazing array of parts to make a seldom seen aircraft. Great show! Sincerely, Mark
MikeC Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 Very nicely done but I'm afraid you earn Michael's standard comment too: "Flap lever a bit sticky was it, Sir?"
dani7705 Posted August 28, 2018 Author Posted August 28, 2018 Thanx again! My kit presents Spitfire from High Altitude Flight No.103 MU RAF Base Aboukir Egypt late 1942.. With Michael's standard comment, I've already dealt with My Seafire L Mk.2c theme . https://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?/topic/68622-seafire-l-mk2c/& I think we're good at having fun with classic English humor... Thank you!
ringleheim Posted September 6, 2018 Posted September 6, 2018 Looks fantastic! Did you use Tamiya for the main camouflage colors? And if so, what were your mixing ratios? Or was that Humbrol? The colors look spot-on for this camouflage.
dani7705 Posted September 6, 2018 Author Posted September 6, 2018 Yes,yes, the main camo colors are my favorite Tamiya colors in this mixing ratios: Dark Earth = XF52:1 + XF64:1 Middle Stone = XF59:1 + XF60:1 Azure Blue = XF8:1 + XF2:3 The Humbrol colors I used in cockpit details etc... Thank You!
Wouter Posted September 7, 2018 Posted September 7, 2018 (edited) That looks splendid. Not to clean, not to dirty, in other words; just right! Edited September 7, 2018 by Wouter
MikeA Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 Gorgeous weathered finish! Gives off the impression of a well worn finish without being overdone. Not a version seen that often. Beautiful! Cheers, Mike
