Shapewise, the WP pallets are the Trumpeter ones, the kit detail is replaced with accurate and extra details. But the general shape is still Trumpy..... One-Oh-Four
The smaller pallet in the back is Tamiya's 1/48 part. Cheers, Erik. Luca
Luca
that is a bad news my doubt now is whether the height of the remaining part of the pallet is also incorrect. however, the detail is very good. I will still take another set for my Trumpy Bravo Cat and I will try to modify them with the milliput in the case. of course, they are not really cheap wolfpack could have done a better job in the forward part. dmthamade
Aftermarket Supposed to be accurate/corrected from kit stuff...just don't understand when the model maker makes a Charlie foxtrot of the part, AND the aftermarket drops the ball on it too!! Alternative to building new would be the forward part of the Tamiya parts, you would need to detail them, though. Don
Tony T
According to this... https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10031149/70/14 ...we need to buy Sprues D and F x 2 from the Tamiya F-14 kit. Does such an ordering process exist in Europe? Tony
Dave Williams
You only need the D sprue for the front Phoenix pallets. That’s how I got a couple of sets previously, by ordering the D sprue from Tamiya USA. One-Oh-Four and Tony T
Luca
yes Tony, but if you want to make a Bombcat you also need bomb racks (I imagine Trumpy parts are poor) Edited August 28, 2018 by Luca

dmthamade
You could try asking if anyone has spares. I rummaged through my spares, oddly enough i came up with both rears but only the front left pallet. The Trumpeter pallets have better detail, i would seriously consider using just the front of the Tamiya part after adding detail on the Trumpeter parts. i'll keep looking for the other pallet. bushande
Just to add to the shape discussion: The best overal shape of the aerodynamic bulges has actually the Revell kit, however the entire pallet rail is to short. Tamiyas Phoenix pallets have a great shape and the correct length, however there is a tiny kink in the root of the aerodynamic bulges in order to make them fit properly around the round edges of the forward fuselage. Revell has the kink, Tamiya doesn't but it's not a big deal to carve that into the Tamiya parts. Trumpeter and (as you already realised) WP parts are just utter crap.
