Phantom2
Hi all!! I will build this; Revell (Germany)´s brand new Messerschmitt Bf109G-6 and as I suffer from a bad case of AMS I will add some additional goodies. Not that the kit requires or need it, but because I want it! A few Barracuda.sets, New cooler, prop (spinner and blades), a little assembly-jig for the prop, Master Gun barrels, Eduards Brassin gear and wheels. Seat belts from HGW and a joystck from Quickboost; ...and not shown on pictures; Master Gun barrels, Eduards´ Brassin landing gear and wheels. Decals from Eagle Editions, but I can´t find a picture, will show it later, but it´s a Desert Machine. More to come…. Cheers! BradG
Definitely going to require those brass gear legs with all that resin!

Yes, I have collected a lot of aftermarket goodies to this and my other 109 kits (Hasgawa and Revell) the last few years. Time to put them to use now! JefH
Good luck with the build. I used the barracuda intake and exhaust set on mine and in hindsight wish I had purchased the full set like you did. Jeff

Phantom2
Hi all! Daniel, this is a very nice kit from the box and you don´t really NEED all the AM stuff I´m throwing in to it, it´s just because I WANT to, to get a little better detail! Well the build is started in ernest…. The Cockpit glued together (with the original rear bulkhead)….. One thing that really bugged me in this kit was how Revell have made the landing gears, they look so weak. So when Eduard released thir Brassin metal gears, I just had to have them! Beautifully cast and the doors are included! I didn´t like the seat either so I got one from the Baracudacast range, seatbelts and the whole rear bulkhead included with superb detail! Here I am now, a few subassemblies done and soon ready to paint. It took a bit of surgery to get the Barracudacast seat in place, but the fit is perfect and it looks so much better. I also used a stick from Quickboost with better detail. More to come! Cheers! BloorwestSiR
Nice start there Stefan. The Barracuda resin bits are very nice indeed. Carl
