Rick Griewski
Thanks for posting this build. Very well done. The crew cage is great. I have book marked this build as guidance for my conversion. Rick Edited July 13, 2018 by Rick Griewski Type-o
chrish
Thanks I can make one suggestion, the fit of the upper turret is/ was uncertain. I had a little trouble of my own making fitting the stand the gunner would use while operating the top turret. I’d suggest building the stand and locate it inside the cabin then fit the top canopy and mark out the location of the hole for the turret. I mocked up the fit before cutting the upper hole but didn’t take into account some of the perifery items around the stand that could interfere with the stand when fitted to the upper hole. It’s a really good thing there’s a flange around the turret! It allowed me to oversize and slightly oblong the top hole to fit the stand and not foul the inner deck workings thanks for looking! chrish
Thanks, I must give credit to Iwata airbrushes and Tamiya paints, they did the work, I was just the one pulling the trigger and scribbling all over the thing.
