BradG
Not a bad kit for a Trumpeter model. I've always wanted one of these so I was pretty pleased to see it on the market and even more so that it was a decent model. Joe66
OMG ! A surface-to-air missle launcher....IN THIS FORUM ! ....Just what exactly are you trying to say here Brad ? dutik
Nice one! Hint for building Czech models: Check the orientation of the Czech roundels. The Blue always point forward, the White upward/outward, the Red downward/inboard. Any other orientation will turn it into a kind of odd Dutch roundel, minus the orange center spot. A common Problem among modellers building their first model(s) in Czech markings. Regards - dutik BradG
LSP_Matt
Whats the dileo with the fins on the missiles? They seem the wrong way around. Nice build Matty BradG
dutik
The fins are fine and as ordered by the renown Viktor Tikhomirov, who also designed the soviet WW2 air defense radar system and the Topaz and Izumrud radars of Mig-15, -17, -19 and the Tu-16. BradG
Whats the dileo with the fins on the missiles? They seem the wrong way around. Second time someone has asked that, but no, they are correct. The leading edges are swept back on all the fins.
dutik
Funny! That's life. At least the instructions didn't ask you to point the missles backwards AFAIK the insufficient decals were mentioned in reviews of the kit. As for the fins: They were designed "backwards" by choice to confuse the Imperialist intruders! "Look Joe, how should this commie missle fly with the fins reversed? They will never hit us! Morons!" - WHAMMM! - dutik BradG and Joe66

ClumsyDude
Great work Brad. The dirt on the running gear looks great, and the overall scale effect is really convincing. I like it. Jim BradG
