marauderdriver
Just the lettering and NO STEP. Hope this is in the right forum And why does everyone paint the spinner tip red? If it's red, it doesn't match the rudder stripes. Thanks jack Edited January 6, 2017 by marauderdriver Uncarina
Bill_S
Jack, Those markings came with the Revell/Takara boxing of this kit. I gave mine away a few years ago, or I'd send them to you. LSP_K2

Thomas Lund
Small text is difficult to cut a mask for on cutting plotters as they often tear. S 12 should be possible (in 32nd) If anyone can find a font that matches I'd be willing to try - again, no guarantees for the small text, but I'll try Out2gtcha
D Bellis
And why does everyone paint the spinner tip red? Because the spinner is the same tonal value as the (known) red rudder stripes: Somewhere out there is at least one color shot of this airplane showing the red spinner, too. But, I couldn't locate one of the color shots with just a cursory Google search. HTH, D
Bill_S
The Revell callout for the spinner is red; the base of the spinner, white.

HTH I'll think this is a job for my small marker...Thanks Small text is difficult to cut a mask for on cutting plotters as they often tear. S 12 should be possible (in 32nd) If anyone can find a font that matches I'd be willing to try - again, no guarantees for the small text, but I'll try Appreciate the offer Thomas....Think I'll try a different idea. jack Because the spinner is the same tonal value as the (known) red rudder stripes: Somewhere out there is at least one color shot of this airplane showing the red spinner, too. But, I couldn't locate one of the color shots with just a cursory Google search. HTH, D Hey D, The tonal value of several BW pics is the reason I ask the question. It matches the BLUE on the rudder but to dark for the red...IMHO. Would love to find a real color photograph, but even that could be a stretch....jack The Revell callout for the spinner is red; the base of the spinner, white. Thanks Bill I wouldn't put much stock in what Revell says about stuff like that. They don't have any magic sources of infallible information. Your best bet by far would be to simply have the small lettering printed out on a laser printer. Once I get established in Tucson I could do it for you in a jiffy. Thanks Jennings, I don't know but it looks to dark to be red in the BW photos to me. I think I will just draw them on and move on...jack I make my own mask sets but i dont think i can make any thing that small its not a problem of making the mask set its trying to pill off the mask and making it lay right .The stars are not a problem just need to know the size . Thank You Sir for the input..jack
