BloorwestSiR Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Here's my entry in the GB. It's the Tamiya low back XVI kit. I'll be using Life Like decals to do TD248. I have a bit of AM to add to the build but it'll be mostly OOB. This means I'll have two different Spitfires on separate group builds at the same time. Carl Derek B, dmthamade, mark31 and 5 others 8
mozart Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 You're certainly the Spitfire man Carl, I've no doubt this one will be well up to the standard of your other Spits and she'll look really striking in those colours! Max geedubelyer and BloorwestSiR 2

Max Thanks Max! At one point last night, I had a VII, VIII, XIV, this one and the 22 in the Jurassic Plastic GB all out on my workbench. It was quite the mess of plastic sprues. I really enjoy building the Tamiya Spitfires for some reason. mozart and KiwiZac 2
BloorwestSiR Posted January 2, 2017 Author Posted January 2, 2017 Nice one Mark Thanks Mark! I'm looking forward to your Puma. mark31 1

I think I'd have got confused about which bit belonged to which and ended up with a bit of a mongrel or two!

BloorwestSiR Posted January 2, 2017 Author Posted January 2, 2017 Carl Way to go .. Going to be a another terrific build to follow and enjoy Keep 'em coming Peter Thanks Peter! This will be a nice clean build, like I'm used to.
BloorwestSiR Posted January 2, 2017 Author Posted January 2, 2017 I think I'd have got confused about which bit belonged to which and ended up with a bit of a mongrel or two! There is that risk. Thankfully the XIV was a blue grey plastic and the 22 light grey. The rest were Tamiya kits so at least the sprues were mostly interchangable.
