DirkE Posted January 24, 2017 Author Share Posted January 24, 2017 Started scratch building the front AN/APS radar scanner. There are not many reference photos. I asked Lockheed, who always helped me with some photos in the past, but in this case...not. Well, anyway using the photos and drawings I found on the internet I tried to replicate it as best as possible. The scanner itself is attached with Maskol to the mounting to see if it fits. I think that should be ok. Still some wires missing and the mounting for the radome. Now its just the wings, the radome, fuel and buddy tank and some more antennae.I tried a different FOD cover. Not sure if I use this one or the red.
