ChuckT
I'm looking for the cheapest, larger sized aircraft kit I can find to use as a test mule for airbrushing on and other tests. Doesn't have to be pretty or complete (if someone has one for sale) but it does needs some fuselage halves and wings I can play with for airbrushing trails. Any ideas on where I can find such a thing?
ChuckT
What a great idea! I never would have though of that. Thanks.

ChuckT
Jeff at Rare Planes Detective is sending me a 1/32 Fw 190 fuselage with wings (and tailplanes) for $9.99 delivered. Thanks again for the case idea (which I'll also use), Chuck. Out2gtcha
Rick Griewski
I bought two older zero kits for the engines. I use these types of kits as painting hacks. Vac kits that are useless can be repurposed. Large vacs are great to train on spraying large surfaces. Rick Lee White
ScottsGT
Cheap 1/48 Revell F-15 kits from Micheals or Hobby Lobby should fit the bill. Lots of flat wing area.

dgassie
I've been using the same VHS video cassette case as an airbrush test "mule" since, well, since before DVDs came out. It's probably got 400 coats of paint on it and it still works fine. Beta cases are better. : )
