Goal to finish the intakes to the tail in foil today. Here's a picture with "Ye Old Pub" and "Yellow 2" Franz Stiegler. Cool story to read if you're ever interested. Book is called "A Higher Call", print is from valorstudios.com. Stay tuned!

Thanks Pete!

The details still need a little help. I rescribe gently with a toothpick.

Ill probably double foil some panels for extra contrast. Thoughts?

Looking really nice, I would double foil maintenance access panels, what do you think about that?.

Question, do the F-104 show stress marks on the surface?, I beleive it might not be that hard to reproduce with two or three layers of foil

Looks sweet! And I agree with the panels. Ill start adding them.

I could be wrong in my ideas, but a stressed skin supersonic airplane may not be a good thing. Most skins past ww2 were modular, so a buckled skin could easily be replaced. I know with my company, tiny hair cracks in spars and skin are cut out and replaced on our machines. Also, if assume supersonic jets would be monocoque, but if someone else knows please let us know!

Justin!
