Padraic Conway
Excellent build! I've always wanted to see one of these and your approach to the wing midsection has inspired me! Perhaps pieces from an old Revell 109G could be parts donors... Great stuff! Padraic
Lee White
BTW, if you'd like to build this model, but lack Michael's skills and determination, there is a conversion set available. http://www.capehobby.com/Aircraft_Resin_Models_CHG--BF109H_CONVERSION_KIT_2.html
Padraic Conway
Thanks for the headsup there Lee . Tempting, but this might be a way to extend my skills (and use up a Revell kit from the stash). Padraic Lee White
fam43
At last I found some time to finish the kit. A 109 on wide spread legs. Pilots who flew versions of the "H" were pleased by its flight characteristics but experienced wing flutter at high speeds. The 109 H says Good Bye.
