LSP_Kevin
That looks fantastic! I hope my first vac turns out half as good! Keep it up mate! I cant wait to see the next one! Thanks Dave. Back at work today, so I've had the chance to print out a couple of Swedish roundels for the base (always print a spare!). Hopefully I'll get a chance to work on it when I get home tonight. LSP_Kevin
Well folks, it's done! I applied the roundel with some spray-on adhesive, and then gave it 3 coats of satin acrylic sealer by brush. The acrylic rod is fixed in place using Araldite (2-part epoxy glue). I had a lot of trouble attaching the model in the end, as the rod is slightly too small for the tail pipe on the model. It ended up sliding down the rod further than I had planned. Next time I'll rig something up inside the fuselage to 'capture' the rod better. But, as a grand experiment on two fronts, I'm pretty happy with this result! I'll get some glamour shots done over the weekend, weather permitting. Kev Derek B and Bozzaroo

Shawn M
looks fantastic! I actually just got a vac kit of a PBM. Although I bought it for the clear parts it appears that J&Ls 1/72 scale doesn't match Mach II's so I will use the vac kit for the basis of my cutaway.
