Lud13
Hello all! This is my first build here on this great site. I am member a year or so but so far i was only watching I think its time to become a bit active I will enter GB with old Revell late war Zero. The kit looks very nice for its years so i am going to build it out of the box. The other reason is that Iam not so experienced:) So first few pictures are here : I hope i will get the colours in a few days so i can start building this model. Erwin
Good to see another "Classic " Revell kit in the GB. If I'm correct, this was the first 32 nd Revell kit realesed in the early 60's.

Juggernut
Welcome! It's always good to add another Japanese subject to the mix. The most important thing here is to have fun. Tim

ruzlkampf
Hurray! Good to see another participant in this GB, ..Welcome, Dejan! TimC said it all, "it's all about having fun." Glad to see another Zero make it into the mix. Always a good choice. Post lots of pics, OK? We like that. heh heh. Can't wait to see how this kit builds up, as I've never built a Zero before. Is this kit still available? May have to look into one of these things. Again, welcome....and happy modelling!!! Later, Russ
LSP_Kevin
Is this kit still available? May have to look into one of these things. Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's still available Russ. It gets a re-release every so often, though I don't know why. It's a straightforward enough kit, and not terribly inaccurate, but just about every other 1/32 Zero kit out there has surpassed it (they're all newer is why!). It's the same one I've been bashing on for 18 months now... Kev

Thx Dejan I can't really help you with Humbrol acrylic colours Dejan, but both Tamiya and Gunze make these colours specifically in their respective acrylic paint ranges. If you can seek them out, they'll make your life much easier. Kev

richter111
I picked up a sealed 1968 release of this kit a couple of years ago from my LHS. It had been down in his basement, all these years. I opened it, it had a coupon for a 1968 catalog, and a 45rpm record of authentic engine sounds. Nice and crisp is hard dark green plastic I paid $7.99 for mine Ric
Lud13
I dig out some colours from old Tamiya 1:48 Zero kit booklet, and compared them to Humbrol reference chart. Here are results: Colour.............Tamiya.............Humbrol J.N. Green.........XF-11...................75 J.N. Grey...........XF-12...................64 Metallic Blue.......X-13....................52 Flat Green..........XF-5...................101 The last two colours are for interior and as far as i undestan both could be used. I cant wait to get the colours by the end of the week. So guys do You think these will do the job?
Lud13
Hello all I finaly manage to find some spare time to work a bit on Zero. I sprayed interior color and put fuselage together. And here i find first problem, The uper surface of fuselage didnt look right. It has some strange not round shape so i had to put some git on it and sanded it. Unfortunaly in proces i destroyed some of lines and rivets, and still am not satisfied with results. Next i will finish control panel, during week i hope Dejan
